Here's what we'll do together:

The Influencer & Partnerships Coordinator is responsible for initiating and coordinating partnerships with people, platforms and brands our key markets. From our HQ in Amsterdam, you will work together with our PR Manager and key regions (Netherlands, Germany, Japan, South Africa and US) to initiate and roll out partnerships across the globe (organic and paid).

You will coordinate our tastemaker program in which we work with the most credible expressive creators. They can be musicians, artists, chefs, athletes, tattoo artists – as long as they match our own outspoken and rebellious DNA. Your aim is to amplify our storytelling and get our coolest products on the coolest people – through both organic seeding/gifting and paid partnerships.

Additionally, you will identify and coordinate partnerships with brands and platforms to amplify our storytelling and/or set up product collaborations. In this role, you will work closely with the PR Manager and report into the Global PR Lead. 


Your tasks & responsibilities:

  • ​Identify, determine and select relevant tastemakers, to amplify brand and product visibility and build brand love with our consumers. 
  • Reach out to creators and artists to build our network, in close collaboration with our key regions in Europe, Japan, South Africa and United States.
  • ​Develop relationships with key tastemakers (new and existing) through both organic seeding/gifting and paid partnerships. Focus on creating long lasting relationships that create valuable bonds and authentic output.
  • Arrange coordination with legal for paid partnerships (contracts / documentation).
  • Brief and follow up on content production and deliverables in case of paid partnerships, coordinate publication on creator channels with social team. 
  • Manage yearly budgets for talent collaborations together with the PR Manager. 
  • Develop and drive global tastemaker stories that support brand initiatives with a focus on brand building, storytelling, cultural relevance, consumer engagement. 
  • Craft unique experiences for the most relevant tastemakers that build on the heritage of G-Star and build brand advocacy. 




  • Monitor, report and analyze results to optimize the effectiveness of tastemaker initiatives. 
  • Invite and attend (fashion) events and industry meetings to expand our network. 


Here's what you bring to the table:

  • A bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience in handling talents and associated partnerships, ideally on both the agency and (fashion) brand side.
  • Strong track record in both brand- and product-driven partnerships.
  • A relevant network/ interest of global artists/tastemakers across music, fashion, design, art.
  • Excellent communication and strong networking skills to expand (y)our network with relevant global contacts.
  • A deep understanding of the latest trends in (social) media, talents, partnerships.
  • A strong feel for cultural differences across key markets, and how this translates to the most effective talent & partnership strategy.
  • Capability to translate strategy, plans and results into compelling presentations.
  • Experience working in an international environment, liaising with various stakeholders in markets across the globe (United States, Germany, The Netherlands, South Africa, Japan).
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of taking ownership of projects from conception to execution.
