HERE'S WHAT WE'LL DO TOGETHER:

As a Retail Communications Coordinator, you play an essential role in ensuring effective communication within our retail organization. Within the role, you are responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all communication between HQ and European Retail stores.

This role fosters a cohesive and informed workplace, ensuring all (store and corporate) employees are aligned on company goals, standards, policies, and updates enhancing the overall organizational efficiency and engagement.
 
You will work within the Retail Operations team, collaborate with multiple disciplines within the company and report to the Head of Retail Operations. You will lead weekly retail meetings.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Create, implement, and oversee effective internal communication tools (MS teams) for both corporate and store levels, ensuring they are efficient and well-managed;
  • Create and execute internal communication standards and strategies that align with company and department objectives and culture;
  • Develop and distribute engaging content for internal newsletters, updates, e-mails, calendars, and other communication;
  • Implement initiatives to boost corporate and staff morale and engagement;
  • Ensure timely and accurately distribution of important information, including policy changes, company news, and product updates;
  • Manage workload planning;
  • Organize and manage internal events such as training sessions;
  • Establish a feedback loop with district and store managers to gather insights and continuously improve communication strategies and services levels;
  • Collaborate with store managers, district managers, and corporate teams to ensure proper implementation of communication and tools and deadlines are met;
  • Ensure all communications reflect the brand’s identity and maintain a high standard of quality;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, store and district managers to develop, execute and manage an operational, procedural, and product-focused training structure via train-the-trainer principle;
  • Manage internal meetings, follow up and report on action points;
  • Responsible for managing the development and maintenance of all internal and external store-related documentation to ensure clear, consistent, and effective communication across all retail locations;

  • Head of Retail Operations
  • Works closely with G-STAR’s corporate and Retail field teams
  • Local HR/ Finance/ IT

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
  • Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and presentation
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications;
  • 3 to 5 years of demonstrable and relevant work experience;
  • Strong analytical ability with a pragmatic attitude & hands-on mentality with a focus on results;
  • Excellent stakeholder management;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Proven experience in training;
  • Ability to manage complex relationships between various professional disciplines and organizational levels & able to connect people to the bigger picture;
  • Excellent ability to connect people, manage changes, overcome resistance, and persist in achieving mission;
  • Enthusiastic, self-starting, and enjoys change;
  • Fully comfortable working in English, both written and spoken;
  • Passion for and experience in retail!
