HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Senior PR Manager is responsible for coordinating all global PR & influencer marketing activities for G-STAR, and as such the visibility of our brand in worldwide key media. From our HQ in Amsterdam, you will ensure G-STAR and its campaigns resonate in our key markets; directly managing the European region (Benelux, Germany, occasionally Italy/UK). Strategically briefing local leads in France, Japan, South Africa, USA.
You are responsible for international press coverage in fashion, art/design, business, sustainability and daily media/newspapers (online and offline) in our key regions. Making sure we are seen in the right local cultures & creative communities. Maximizing global PR results, hitting our ambitious targets and KPIs. Expanding our network of influential tastemakers that increasing our brand awareness and credibility.
In this role, you will report into the Global Head of Brand Communications.
- Handling the Global PR & influencer strategy for G-STAR,
- Leading global PR campaign plans, brief local teams on execution in key markets,
- Managing global/local PR events,
- Liaising with PR agencies supporting our local markets (France, South Africa, Japan, US),
- Managing the Tastemaker Coordinator,
- Realizing high-level press coverage across print, broadcast and online media,
- Managing bi-weekly and monthly PR reports for senior management,
- Reporting back on the global KPIs and performance of all campaigns, with clear implications for improvement,
- Handling media inquiries and interview requests with corporate communications,
- Proactively keeping track of opportunities for innovations and campaign elements that hold potential PR value.
- Local PR leads in our offices in the Netherlands, Japan, South Africa, United States,
- Leading PR agencies in support of key markets (Netherlands, Germany, France, project-based in UK/Italy),
- Social Media Manager,
- Global Brand Activation team,
- Global Head of Brand Communications,
- Director Corporate Affairs.
- 7-8 years of relevant PR experience, ideally on agency and (fashion) brand side,
- Extensive track record in both brand- and product-driven PR campaigns,
- Relevant global press network in fashion, design, business, newspapers,
- Strong networking skills to expand (y)our network with relevant global contacts,
- A deep understanding of the latest trends in (social) media, influencer management and PR strategy,
- A strong feel for cultural differences across key markets, and how this translates to the most effective global PR strategy,
- A strong affinity with sustainability and associated storytelling,
- Capability to translate strategy and plans into compelling presentations,
- Experience with managing teams and PR professionals,
- Experience working in an international environment, liaising with various stakeholders in markets across the globe (France, UK, United States, Germany, The Netherlands, South Africa, Japan).
