- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant monthly payroll output for our entities in Spain, DACH, and Japan, executed by external providers (ADP, Rosclar). The countries for which you manage the payroll output may change over time
- Collaborate with internal departments (HR, Finance) and external parties to ensure seamless payroll processing
- Verify payroll-related invoices and ensure timely payments
- Monitor payroll processes and be proactive in identifying irregularities as well as improvements
- Stay updated on legislation related to payroll
- Manage payroll ledgers through monthly reconciliations, checks and accruals to balance financial data
- Oversee annual processes such as audits, providing necessary data to involved parties
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding payroll related inquiries
- At least one year of experience as an international payroll specialist
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical skills, fact-based and numbers-driven
- Hands-on and solution-oriented approach minded, with a commitment to get the job done
- Ability to multi-task and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proactive with a strong eagerness to develop and learn
