HERE’S WHAT WE’LL DO TOGETHER:
Are you an analytical thinker with a deep passion for denim, data, and driving commercial success through smart stock management? At G-STAR, we’re looking for a seasoned professional to take ownership of our full-price store portfolio across Europe, ensuring optimal stock levels and maximizing profitability through data-driven allocation approaches.
As our (Senior) Allocator, you will play a central role within the Planning, Buying & Allocation team. You’ll be aligning stock with demand, identifying commercial opportunities, and driving operational excellence across our retail network. Your analytical expertise and retail insight will be key in our allocation tactic and operations.
YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Stock Management: Lead the end-to-end allocation and replenishment plan across EU full-price and Outlet stores, ensuring alignment with commercial goals and seasonal plans.

Cross-Functional: Act as the liaison between Planning, Buying, Retail, Logistics, and IT to ensure seamless execution of stock strategies.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Conduct in-depth sales and stock analysis at size and store level to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Translate insights into actionable plans.

Forecasting & Planning: Work with Merchandise Planners and Buyers to ensure timely ordering and allocation of new collections via ERP/SAP systems.

Reallocation & Optimization: Proactively manage store-to-store transfers and reallocation strategies to optimize sell-through and reduce markdown risk.

Performance Monitoring: Drive best- and slow-seller management, contributing to weekly trade meetings with clear insights and recommendations.

Event & Promotion Readiness: Lead allocation planning for key commercial events (e.g., sales, launches), ensuring alignment across product, price, place, and promotion.

Digital & Retail Synergy: Ensure strong alignment between brick-and-mortar stores and G-Star.com to support an omnichannel customer experience.

Initiative & Development: Foster and provide a culture of continuous improvement and analytical excellence.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in stock allocation, merchandise planning, or supply chain within the fashion or retail industry.
- Proven expertise in ERP systems (preferably SAP) and strong Excel skills.
- Strong analytical acumen with a commercial mindset and hands-on approach.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders.
- Experience in managing stock flows across multiple regions and channels.
- A passion for fashion and a deep understanding of retail dynamics.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
