HERE'S WHAT WE'LL DO TOGETHER:
The G-STAR E-commerce Trade & Content teams are responsible for optimizing sales performance and enhancing the consumer experience on the G-Star website and app. With our e-commerce business growing rapidly and ambitious targets on the horizon, operational excellence and speed to market are essential to achieving our goals.
As the E-Commerce Intern, you will support the e-commerce team in executing and maintaining the operational aspects of the site. This role offers a hands-on learning experience, focusing on the execution of campaigns, promotions, and .com/APP updates within our CMS, while collaborating closely with the marketing and content teams. You will gain real responsibility from day one, contributing to live trade activities and ensuring all updates go live on time and meet quality standards.
Eager to learn and highly organized, you will support site housekeeping and work with the team to optimize workflows, always aiming to improve speed to market. You will gain exposure to e-commerce systems and processes, proactively seeking ways to contribute to the efficient operation of the site and the broader e-commerce platform. Effective communication and fluency in English are key, as you will be based at our Amsterdam HQ.
YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
E-Commerce Operations Support
- Execute trade activities on G-Star.com, ensuring timely and accurate product displays and campaign launches.
- Update homepage banners, category page assets, and navigation in line with trade briefs.
- Work with the digital trade team to implement promotional activities (e.g., discounts, campaigns) in the CMS.
- Conduct daily site checks for functionality, resolving any issues.
- Support the E-Commerce team in optimizing workflows and improving speed to market.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- You are a Bachelor / Master student in (International) Business, Retail or a related education.
- You have a strong affinity and ambition for retail and preferably denim, fashion or the lifestyle industry.
- You are a pro-active, energetic and driven intern who wants to learn by doing.
- Experience with MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Affinity with systems and technology.
- You are available full-time (40hrs per week) for a period of 6 months starting in sept 2026.
- You are already living in the Netherlands and are in possession of a BSN.
- You are enrolled at a university or college in the Netherlands during the whole length of the internship.
- If you are a non-EU student in The Netherlands, you are in possession of a mandatory internship assignment.
- Finally, if you have a strong personality and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, we’d love to meet you!
